Your mission
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll architect and build the core systems that power critical decisions. You'll work across our full technology stack, from infrastructure provisioning with Nix to optimization engines in Scala. What you’ll actually do:
- Contribute to our core platform: stochastic optimization, simulation frameworks and integration layers.
- Build robust infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Nix to ensure reproducible, reliable systems.
- Architect data processing pipelines and APIs that connect optimization engines to real-world systems.
- Shape our technical culture and engineering practices.
About you
- You're a polyglot programmer who believes the best tool depends on the problem. Python is fine, but you light up when talking about Scala, Haskell, or Rust.
- Functional programming isn't just a paradigm to you—it's a way of thinking about correctness, composition, and managing complexity.
- You appreciate the elegance of Nix and NixOS for reproducible builds, development environments and declarative infrastructure, or you're excited to learn why we chose it.
